Change Makers Through Change Giving

By Karen Ronney

Small changes can make a big impact. Just ask the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation, which needs your help. Please join our Change Giving team and donate your spare change so we can directly improve the lives of deserving and underserved youth in Southern California.

“We are committed to improving the lives of deserving children in Southern California through the sport of tennis,” said Linda Milan, the Executive Director for the SCTA Foundation. “A small donation can make big changes on an ongoing basis. It adds up.”

The Southern California Tennis Association Foundation provides grants, scholarships and supports programs with the objective of making tennis an equal-opportunity sport. We put rackets, balls and other equipment directly in the hands of kids throughout Southern California in schools, parks, youth centers, clubs and other organizations. The SCTA Foundation also gives 100 percent of donations directly to underserved people, programs and communities in Southern California.

We give funding to promising juniors and pay for their tournament fees, travel expenses, equipment and more. We help college bound players find their future pathways with a focus on tennis and education.

We also send hundreds of kids to summer camps from San Louis Obispo to San Ysidro, who would not normally have those life experiences. Our passion is to #LaunchKidsDreams and your spare change can be the magical piece of the Change Giving puzzle that we very much need to succeed.
